Send in your favorite photo and they'll dress it up Andy Warhol style. Love it!

April Book Club Selection
The Thirteenth Tale is our April selection. Sometimes, there is nothing better than a good mystery. I'm really looking forward to reading it. It should be a nice follow-up to the extremely interesting but sad Stolen Lives.

Arbor Day Foundation
How about giving a yearlong membership to the Arbor Day Foundation to your green-minded friend? When you register, the organization will send 10 free saplings appropriate to the recipient's region. To make it a cute gift, buy a trowel, write a note on a piece of card stock you stamp with an image of a tree and tie it to the trowel with a bit of ribbon. {via Good Housekeeping}

Serv Ce Station
I saw these stools in a home featured in Domino. I love the clean farm house inspired lines.

While trolling the site, I also spotted this great table.

Pretty Pink

I love the pale pinks on fingers and toes this spring. Real Simple has a great feature online that picks the best color based on your skin tone.

Martin Luther King, Jr.
Always a man to follow his moral compass, next Friday will mark the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination. To mark this, American Radio Works has produced a very interesting multi-part piece about the last year of his life.

What 4,000 Really Means
This is the introduction to a TIME article written by an American soldier. Perhaps it will give everyone just a little more perspective as to if they do or don't support the war.
"The passing of the 4,000th service member in Iraq is a tragic milestone and a testament to the cost of this war, but for those of us who live and fight in Iraq, we measure that cost in smaller, but much more personal numbers. For me those numbers are 8, the number of friends and classmates killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and 3, the number of soldiers from my unit killed in this deployment. I'm 25, yet I've received more notifications for funerals than invitations to weddings."

Ikea Island
I really like this island and think it would work in many different kitchens. My parents have a non-built in island and it looks fantastic! I'm thinking about it for our new condo. I already know I'm going to wish I had more work space! Perhaps I could even paint or stain it?

Giving
I just saw this book at Target and added it to my "books to be read" list almost instantly. All about how we can all give something-- our time, our things, our skills or even good ideas-- it's filled with inspiration from well know moguls to lesser known people like you and me.

White Flats
These would go great with the white pants I want. They also come in navy but sadly, are sold out in my size. The dip in the front would show some great "toe cleavage."

Margaritas, Mojitos & More
Spring and summer are quickly approaching which means it's time to lounge around the deck or patio with an ice cold drink! Margaritas, Mojitos & More has a collection of 60 cool cocktails. Blended, shaken or stirred, these recipes are both old classics and contemporary twists. The book has beautiful color photography and all of the recipes can be made non-alcoholic. Think Asian pear martinis or a honeydew-mint margarita. Mmmmmm.

Martha Stewart Vintage
Martha Stewart, who has stamped her name on all things domestic, has now lent her name to wine. Martha Stewart Vintage will have an initial launch of 15,000 cases and will include three wines: 2006 Sonoma County Chardonnay, 2005 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Sonoma County Merlot. The wines are initially offered in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Phoenix, and Portland, Ore. I saw them at the grocery store this evening and can't wait to try one to see if her golden touch works on wine too!

Fabulous Stationary
Staying with the traditional paper theme for our first anniversary, Stephen surprised me with personalized stationary. He did such a good job! I will definitely be ordering more in the future. If you decide to order for yourself, do it before March 24 so you can save 20%.

Domino Outfit to Room
I'm really drawn to this slide show from Domino where they take an outfit and translate it into decor. This one is my favorite. The outfit is very J. Crew and the room has a footed bowl, a fresh plant and navy and gray-- all things "of the moment" for moi.

Map
One day, when Stephen and I are able, we are going to travel. A lot. All over the world. When we do, {which I hope is very soon} I want to hang a a map of the world in the office and put a pin on every country we've visited. I think it will be a very cool piece of artwork that will only grow more interesting with age.

Baggu
These sturdy nylon bags come in a ton of colors and hold up to 25 pounds. I'm planning on getting a mixture of blues and greens. No more guilt when the guy at the grocery store says, "is plastic okay?"
