Etsy Stationary

Lately I have been falling more and more in love with the custom stationary and other paper products offered on Etsy. Below is just a sample of the incredible work you can find from some of my favorite artists.
Things are Better With a Parrot has some of the most beautiful nature inspired designs. I adore her stationary, notebooks and coasters.
Paper & Ink Studio has some incredibly unique calling cards and fun whimsical personalized stationary.
Dozi's notebooks are just plain fun!
Very affordable personalized stationary by Turtle Designs. They also offer book plates and baby tees.
Simple Song just introduced letter press to her collection and I love it. In addition to stationary she has push pins, crafting goodies and pin boards.
Hand embroidered greeting cards by King Popcorn. I love the delicate details.

Leather Belts

I think I'm the last person to discover The Leather Store and man am I impressed with their belts.

Create a Headboard

I must say I think this is genius! It's a four-step headboard kit to creating your own custom design. There are three designs available and all you need to create the headboard of your dreams is the fabric of your choosing, nail heads {if you want them} and a few simple tools. Best of all each headboard only costs $176! {If you originally posted about this please let me know so I can give you credit.}

Berry Bowl

What a sweet little berry bowl. I could even picture a larger one for the counter filled with lovely goodies from the farmers market. {via Frolic!}

Mid-Century Chair

Crate & Barrel Van Dyke Chair, $700. Even with custom fabric it wouldn't be $1500. I love when you can find Anthro style at a fraction of the cost!

Belts

I've come to realize that belts can complete an outfit. These would work with billowy shirts or flowy sundresses. A skinny and a thicker one- I think I want both! {via In(side) theLoop}

Side Chairs

I'm really struggling with side chairs for the living room. One day I like this one, the next another. My mom brought to my attention that chairs with open backs would make our rooms seem more open {which is what we need with 1,000 square feet!} What do you all think of this one in a pair with a fun and funky fabric on the seat?

Style + Wallet

Part of being stylish means being inspired by people who exude style. For me, it's real life people, not celebrities. Courtney over at In(side) the Loop is a great example. The pictures on her blog show real life fashion inside her home and closet as well as what inspires her-which in turn inspires me!

Basically, this is a really long intro to me saying I've found some really awesome things on her blog and over the next few days I'll be highlighting them on my blog because I love them so much!

So, without further ado, I love this wallet. It's stylish and practical. A beautiful upgrade that would last many, many years.

Fall Boot

Could these two be the perfect fall boots? Which pair do you like?

Old Navy Dresses

Prompted by Elements of Style's amazing post last week, I practically ran over to Old Navy this weekend. Unfortunately, a bunch of the cute stuff didn't fit me well or they didn't have my size. But, I was able to make it home with these two dresses.

Tie-back Knit Dress

As usual, the dresses look much better on than the pictures show!

Ilulissat

The town of Ilulissat, Greenland has become a tourist destination as well as a place for oil spectators and environmentalists alike. After all, it's the best place on the globe to see the incredible effects of global warming firsthand. Overlooking Disko Bay-where enormous icebergs float by all day long-the town has a constantly changing landscape that can be enormously depressing. To combat the nearly year-long dreary conditions and "Greenlandic silence" residents paint their houses candy colored shades. I think they're incredibly beautiful and would love to live in a town with such a bright neighborhood! {image via USA Today}

Happy Weekend!

Whew, I'm tired. Have a lovely weekend. See you all Monday! {image via dogfaceboy}

Drains

These ornamented metal lace drains are so incredibly gorgeous. I love how fantastic design is incorporated into mundane everyday things. {via Design is Mine}

Dining Table + Chairs

I stumbled up on these modern interpretations of the traditional ladderback chair while perusing the West Elm site. What do you think of this one paired with the 60" Crate & Barrel Pacifica Table? Of course the other consideration is the reproduction Hans Wegner "Wishbone" chair that could be painted.
Or the new Emerson Chair from Pottery Barn which has a slight gray tint.

Etsy Fashion

Design is Mine introduced me to a bunch of designers on Etsy. I always knew there was talent on the site, but WOW, I'm so impressed.

Rise & Fall Lamp

As of late, I seem to be on a lamp fix. I remember seeing this beauty a few months ago in Domino and figured it was worth revisiting. I love the vintage look and the gorgeous sea-blue.

Blue Dress

I love everything about this dress- the vibrant color, the polka dots, everything!

Doll Pillow

This pillow instantly reminded me of a set of wooden dolls I had growing up. It would look so chic in a little girls room or in a grown up room for a little bit of cheekiness.

Folk-Printed Zippered Pouches

These folk-print zippered pouches made out of vintage fabric are so fun! I'd use one as a clutch or a makeup back.

PB Throw

Continuing with Pottery Barn's seemingly revamp, I stumbled upon this throw. I love the knitted look and the beautiful colors.

Built-in Desk

I love this built-in desk. It's so casual and would make the perfect place for a laptop or dining if you have a tiny space.

Lemonade Stand

Joanna over at A Cup of Jo interviewed kids about having lemonade stands in New York City. It's such a cute and hilarious story- the perfect Monday afternoon pick-me-up. Click here to read the story.

PB Lamps

I know I keep posting about Pottery Barn, but I just cannot get over how many pages I've dog-eared in the catalog. They've really departed from their typical designs. {In a good way.} These lamps look like stuff you'd find from major designers, not the big-box chain.

A Visual Dictionary of Decor Styles

Being relatively new to decorating, this post, over at Elements of Style, was immensely helpful. It describes the difference between various decor styles and shows how different styles can be mixed for a truly beautiful home. An added bonus- it's from a great blog which I now love!
